Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American broadcaster. She is the host of SportsNation and is a SportsCenter anchor. Since 2016, Collins has was a part of ESPN. She is a daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a television reporter. Antonietta is a native bilingual. When she was just nine years old, Collins's capacity to communicate in two languages helped her get a job in Miami as an assistant producer at Univision. In this role she was able to work with national producers, such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Her next assignment was reporter for sports at CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. Then she moved to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at the Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. They eventually moved from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on November 22 1985. Also, she has an older sister. The family in 1992 left Mexico and relocated to Miami. After a short time, her father divorced from her mother and she was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. On a family vacation in Ohio, the young Collins was able to take a job along with her sister. Antonietta was the senior of her high school however, she had a very clear vision of her goals for the future. She visited Mount Union University in order to find out if the school was suitable for her. The campus was beautiful as well as offered the level of education she wanted. When she finished her high school education, she chose to enroll at the university with a major with Media Studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor - was also the manager at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to be confident and was deeply moved by his passion for journalism.
